For two whole days, from dawn until late in the afternoon, our Bridal Session photo shoot took us through three unique cities in Belgium, each with its own character and history.
The journey began in Diest, a picturesque town in the province of Flemish Brabant. In the central Grote Markt, the Grand Square, the eye is drawn to the impressive 16th and 18th-century houses that harmoniously surround the space. Τhe town hall dominates the area, a testament to classical architecture that exudes prestige and timelessness, making it the perfect backdrop for any shot.
Next, we traveled to Leuven, a city full of life and history. Known as a university town since 1425, Leuven combines youthful energy with the heavy legacy of the past. At the Town Hall, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture built between 1439 and 1463, every detail of the stone sculptures captured the art of another era. The photo session at the University Library in Ladeuzeplein, the largest square in the city, added a sense of grandeur and cultural prestige as the lens captured the beauty of this timeless location.
Finally, our photographic journey concluded in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, a city full of contrasts and historical grandeur. At the Brussels Town Hall, a true gem of Gothic architecture, the shots showcased its magnificence and historical significance. The Cathedral of Saint Michael and Saint Gudula, with its impressive facade and intricate interior, became one of the most striking backdrops of the shoot. A stroll through the Royal Saint-Hubert Galleries added a touch of elegance and romance, while the city’s other corners captured the vibrancy and unique atmosphere of the capital.
It was two days full of creativity, movement, and inspiration, with each shot capturing the beauty and history of these unique destinations. A journey that immortalized the soul of Belgium through the lens, full of light, architecture, and moments that will remain unforgettable.
